- Prices on our website are indicative "from" prices. The price for your job is the one in your written quote.
- We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices.
- If we find something during the job that couldn't reasonably be seen beforehand (for example a hidden leak or corroded pipework), we'll explain it and agree any extra cost with you before doing extra work.

- A 50% deposit is required to book installation work.

4. Your right to cancel
If you agree a job with us at your home, by phone, by email or online, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing it, without giving a reason. To cancel, tell us clearly by email, phone or letter using the details above.
- If you ask us to start work within the 14 days and then cancel, you'll pay for the work done up to the point you tell us.
- If you ask us to start within the 14 days and the work is fully completed, you lose the right to cancel.
- There is no cancellation right for urgent repairs or maintenance you've specifically asked us to visit and carry out.
- Any payment we owe you back will be refunded within 14 days of you cancelling, using the same method you paid with.
To rearrange or cancel a booked visit after the 14 days, please give us at least 48 hours' notice. There's no charge for this.
5. What we ask of you
- Give us safe access to the property and the work area at the agreed time.
- Tell us about anything that could affect the job or our safety, such as known leaks, previous work or suspected asbestos.
- Clear the work area of valuables and fragile items where you can, and keep children and pets away from it.
- Let us use your water, gas and electricity supplies to carry out and test the work.
- Help us find somewhere to park near the property where possible.
6. How we carry out the work
- All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers and to current regulations and manufacturers' instructions.
- Where the law requires it (for example a new boiler), we notify the work to Gas Safe Register, who send you a Building Regulations compliance certificate.
- We protect floors and furnishings and leave the work area tidy. If we need to lift flooring or open walls, we'll agree this with you first. We may not be able to exactly match decorative finishes when putting them back.
- Removing and disposing of your old appliance is included in installation quotes unless the quote says otherwise.
- If we suspect asbestos or another hazard, we'll stop work in that area until it has been checked by a specialist.
7. Unsafe gas appliances
If we find a gas appliance or installation that is unsafe, we must follow the Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure. We'll explain the problem and give you a warning notice. With your permission, we'll turn off or disconnect the appliance. If something is immediately dangerous and you refuse permission, we are required to report it to the gas emergency service. This is for your safety and isn't optional for us.
8. Existing systems and parts
Older heating and plumbing systems can have weaknesses we can't see, such as worn valves, corroded pipes or radiators. Work on the system (for example draining or refilling it) can reveal these. We'll tell you straight away and agree any extra work before doing it. We aren't responsible for faults in existing parts we haven't worked on, unless we caused the fault.
9. Guarantees and warranties
- New pipework installed by us is guaranteed for 1 year. If it develops a fault caused by our workmanship in that time, we'll put it right free of charge.
- New appliances come with the manufacturer's warranty on their terms. These usually require the product to be registered and serviced every year by a Gas Safe registered engineer. We'll tell you what applies to your appliance.
- By law, we must carry out our work with reasonable care and skill, and any goods we supply must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If something isn't right, tell us and we'll put it right or, if that isn't possible, give you an appropriate refund.
10. Our liability
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We don't exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or where it would be unlawful to do so. We aren't responsible for business losses. The work we do for you is for domestic use.
